

Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza

Ingredients
- Chicken Ingredients:
- Just Bare Chicken Breast Tenders
- 2 cups pickle juice
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Other Ingredients:
- 2 packages(about 30 oz) of your favorite prepared pizza dough
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar
- ½ red onion, sliced thin
- Nashville Hot Sauce:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp coarse kosher salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Chicken Preparation:
- Marinate Just Bare® Chicken Breast Tenders in pickle juice for 2 hours
- Preheat a large frying pan with olive oil over medium heat
- Sear chicken tenders for 8-10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes
- Remove from heat, let rest until room temperature and then cut into bite size pieces
Nashville Hot Sauce:
- Combine the butter, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and honey in a heavy bottom saucepan.
- Stir over low heat until combined and hold at room temp
Pizza:
- Preheat at 425 F with pizza stone on bottom rack
- Dust a flat surface with flour, split the pizza dough in half and roll out dough to a quarter inch thick(12-14 inches round) Transfer the dough to a dusted pizza peel
- Brush on about a quarter cup of Nashville hot sauce, leaving a crust around the edges.
- Split cheeses between the 2 pies and spread evenly, top with chicken and red onion
- Bake 14-18 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted
- Removed from oven, let rest for 3-5 minutes and drizzle Nashville Hot Sauce on top of pie based on your desired taste
